| To fully gain the benefits of the 49% filtered methanol /51% distilled water mix, tuning the maps is key to account for the additional oxygen content in the nitro mix. You're essentially adding a mild amount of "race fuel" to your water injection setup... Allowing a slightly higher octane than the pump you filled up on... Good stuff... I have my own little Chem-Lab in the garage with various combinations of mixes... Buying the needed gear for filters, an emulsifying is pretty cheapn which equates to GALLONS of this stuff in the cooler available for dialy use if you choose to... DVDburns software is on my list of toys to purchase along with a few other goodies to see how these different mixes blend with my pump 93 map tune.. 520+rwhp is nice on just 93 pump piss right now, 550-580 with a good blend of "juice" in a W/I setup will be nicer as I tune the afr's to gain the full benefits of up-ing the boost to safe levels to attain this goal......600rwhp on 93 pump + "juice/nitro blend is a pipe dream for now... -Mario D.
